HOW IT WORKS

Pick Your Grips

Screen Shot 2021-11-15 at 9.25.33 AM.png

Most clients supply their own grips. If you already have grips selected, bring them along with your clubs. If not, I’m happy to recommend options—or even handle the order for you.

Select Your Specs

How do you prefer to have your grips installed? The most popular choice is going logo down so that it is hidden under the shaft at address. You can select your grip preferences at the order screen.

Choose Your Turn Around Time

Pricing per club varies based on the turnaround time you need. Share your deadline, and we’ll ensure your clubs are ready so you can get back to the course, range, or simulator in no time!

Most clients provide their own grips at drop off.  I don't currently keep any stock on hand, but can order them for you if you'd like, passing on the cost of grips and shipping (payment required prior to service).
Need a recommendation? I'm typically a Golf Pride or Lamkin kind of guy. I mainly buy grips from Ebay, as I have found some of the best deals shopping for grips there. Head to my deals page to find great deals and tips on how I've found great deals on Ebay and includes free shipping.
WHY RE-GRIP?

WHY RE-GRIP YOUR CLUBS?

Keep The 'Tack' In Your Attack

The golf world says replace your grips about every 30-40 rounds or after 1 year, whichever comes first.

I actually give my grips a good cleaning with soap, water and a wire cleaning brush that you may already have on your bag to clean your club face. By doing so I revive some of that tack and end up re-gripping every other year. I probably get about 30 rounds in a year and feel good about re-gripping every other year. Only do this though if you are maintaining your grips!

About

MY STORY

Hi, I’m Matt, and I can’t get enough of golf. Good rounds or bad ones—I just need to be out there. If I’m not playing, I’m probably thinking about it. I’m the guy taking “air driver” swings—300 yards right down the middle (aren’t they always?)—in the most unlikely places. I’m also the guy who watches golf on TV and immediately believes he can go out and play like Tiger. The game just fires me up.

My parents started me early, putting a club in my hands when I was four or five. Most of my sets growing up were custom-built by my dad, so I picked up basic club-building skills at a young age. Later, I spent three years working at Golfsmith in Chicago, helping out in the shop and building on that foundation.

I’m a Park Ridge resident of 10 years, and I’m ready to get your clubs dialed in for the upcoming golf season!
